Yellow. Squared.

This was a fun project for a fun client Dyan E. of Chicago. I re-designed a home for Dyan’s 3.55 ct old mine cut diamond. It’s clarity grade is an impressive VVS2 but the M colour made it quite yellow. Instead of the standard approach of white gold to downplay a lesser colour grade we did the reverse and played up the yellow of the diamond by setting it in solid 18k yellow gold with the result of boosting the gem's colour to fancy-like saturation. Gor-ge-ous!
