Spirit Bear

British Columbia's mid west coast is home to a rare sub-species of the Black Bear called the Kermode or spirit bear. White-coated but not albino -- his eyes are brown, not pink. A remarkably beautiful bear, the anomaly is the result of a double-recessive gene found in only a few hundred bears.  About 21 mm from nose to tail.
