Solo Satellite of Love

Originally designed for a full carat diamond, this trio is set with a rich, natural 2.42 ct cognac zircon* in a wide bezel frame of yellow 18k gold and flanked by two 18k gold bands. I was very careful in the design of this trio. What you don't see in the picture (but I can send you one) is how a window opens in the pedestal area to show off the gem under the bezel frame. As well, care was take to ensure a tight fit of the three rings so that worn together they appear as one. On those days that wearing the zircon is not appropriate, leave that ring at home and substitute it for a band of a complimentary colour such as rose gold.

*A note for you who are not familiar with zircon.  This is a gorgeous, rare, natural gem that is not to be confused with cubic zirconia, a man-made stone of little value.  Zircons come in a variety of colours and Disegno has a few beauties tucked away at the back of the safe for the right in-the-know person.
