Raspberry Drops #1

Rhodolite garnet -- a rich raspberry colour -- with a buff top cut, meaning cabochon on top and a pavilion behind.  They've been elegantly set from behind into the frame, a perfect little picture, in 18k yellow gold.  The gems measure 9.59x7.52 mm and weigh a total of 8.70 carats.
