Large King Crab

I first learned about the economic importance of the Red King Crab to Alaska when travelling with the Canadian Coast Guard researching a story on their Arctic mandate*.  We made a couple of stops in Dutch Harbour, Alaska, a tiny hamlet but one of North America's most important fishing ports.  This and the small crab were originally designed for a gift store in the town.   Measures about 45 x 35 mm.
