Gumdrop

This was a favourite gem in my collection: a cushion shaped cabochon of (yup, again) Spessartite Garnet.  Well, I finally decided to share it and have set it in 18k rose gold.  A total of 7.41 cts with what appears to be undissolved flakes of manganese, the element that brings the orange to the Garnet.
