Buff top amethysts, meaning cabochon on top and a pavillion behind.  These deeply saturated gems are set in 18k yellow gold, weight 7.97 total carats and are hung on the ever-popular Disegno U keepers.  The gems were set from behind and the prongs at the back make for a beautiful wee detail as they gently swing on the hoops.
