Pierrot Lunaire   Two custom designed pendants (see also Z-411) inspired by the opera Pierrot Lunaire by Arnold Schoenberg. Naturally, the client wanted moonstones to be the main element of the designs. This one is a fine white colour 43.79 ct moonstone (36.5 x 17.5 x 10.5 mm) beautifully hand-cut in the famous cutting centre of Idar-Oberstein, Gemany. Engraved on the back of the pendant is the first bar of Pierrot Lunaire and still in keeping with the theme note the bass clef bale (loop) through which the chain passes. The pendant is in solid 18k green gold and the 13” chain as well is in 18k green gold hand-made in Disegno’s workshop.
