Medium Humpback Whale

One of the most musical of whales, the humpback is known for its elaborate song patterns. The humpback is also known for its 'dancing' abilities, including diving, spy-hopping and breaching. It's a baleen whale in that it ingests large quantities of zooplankton by straining the tiny organisms through its baleen. Approximate length from nose to tail is 45 mm.
