You will not find this amount of 18k gold in the work of many jewelry designers. All pieces are weighty and you'll love how they feel. I use high quality gems, including Canadian ethical diamonds, and love to work with coloured gemstones such as tanzanites and tsavorites. All pieces are available in platinum.

  • All pieces are solid 18k gold and are available in yellow, white or rose (red) gold. None of the pieces are hollowed out 'behind the scenes' except where greater light play is needed for a faceted stone. Few designers include the amount of gold I do.   • All pieces are stamped with Disegno's trademark and 18k mark.
  • Disegno uses fine Canadian ethical diamonds whenever possible. Most of my diamonds are sourced through B & S (Canada) Inc of the Backes & Strauss Group of Companies, in business since 1789. B & S Caprice® Canadian diamonds come with the CanadaMark™ card from BHP-Billiton. Each diamond is laser engraved with the CanadaMark™ serial number and their brand name Caprice® and a small maple leaf. In addition to a grading certificate from GIA or AGS (for diamonds over 0.50ct+) and the CanadaMark™ card, there is a Caprice® certificate of authenticity proving that the diamond is mined in Canada. B & S provides the following warranty with all its diamonds: "The diamonds herein described or contained in the jewellery herein described have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. The seller hereby guarantees that these diamonds are natural, non-treated, unenhanced and conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds."
